I like the Google Chrome browser. Really, I do. It's quick, easy to use for searches. I use Chrome more than any other browser. (And I regularly use four different ones almost every day.)
But I was surprised... no, shocked, to discover that it has no built-in RSS feed reader!
So here's a tip to those of you using Google Chrome. Download and install the RSS Subscription Extension (feed reader extension) so that you can use Chrome to read those all important feeds.
Frankly, I can't believe that Google didn't build this in to Chrome. It's just plain stupid to leave it out...
[shaking my head]

Many thanks, Ruth! I too have converted to Google Chrome (about 9 months ago). I never thought about a built in RSS feed reader. Thanks for the link to get the extension!
just started using google chrome today, so far it\'s awesome
I will have to check on that extension, and if they updated the rss issue, but yeah i think it\'s dumb they didn\'t include that Lol, have a good night Ruth
Can\'t agree more, however, I am not surprised about the RSS neglect in Chrome. In the last year, they\'ve limited functionality of Google Reader (RSS application) and even removed it from the main toolbar within Gmail. A strange and unwelcomed development.
Love your site! What a terrific resource for international ed marketing folks. Keep up the great work.
Happy to know that what I\'m sharing is helpful / useful!
Thanks!
Hello Ruth! I am mostly an Opera and Mozilla user, but lately I am using more and more Chrome. There are some things that I don\'t like about it and I can\'t make it yet my default browser and one of them was the lack of RSS reader. Thank you for sharing this extension!
But Google (the source of Chrome) has Google Reader, an excellent RSS program (in my opinion): http://www.google.com/reader/view/ You might want to take a look at it.
