7 billion reasons to read National Geographic this year

National Geographic has released a video that emphasizes that each of us will be one of seven (7) billion people on earth by the end of 2011. The magazine is promoting a year-long series of articles throughout 2011.

I've been a fan of National Geographic since I was a child. It was a major influence in encouraging me to go abroad.

I'm planning on reading the series. I hope you will, too.
