Tech Tip: Issues with WordPress plugin Batch Categories

I use a WordPress plugin called "Batch Categories" which helps me do the following:

• Add / remove tags
• Add / remove categories
• Search for postings by keywords to add / remove tags and categories

I like the plugin a lot, but I discovered that when I ran a filter on some of my categories, the plugin didn't seem to work.

I found a posting that said:

For me the problem came down to sub categories that were longer than one word which made me create a slug with a hyphen in it. This is what seemed to break it. As long as you make sure all your category slugs are one word everything still seems to work.

There must be an odd string replace in the code somewhere or something... but the solution for me is to just change my slugs.

That's when I found out that Batch Categories filters only work when your categories are ONE WORD categories. If you change your categories to *one* word, the entire plugin should start working again.
